A Queens restaurant is shaking up the way diners see Thai food, according to The New York Times.

The paper’s restaurant critic, Pete Wells, said in his review that Zaab Zaab provides an authentic northern Thai experience and the food offers a variety of flavor combinations that work well together – including bitterness.

Zaab Zaab left such an impression on Wells that he named it the 14th best restaurant in the city.

The restaurant’s co-owner, Bryan Chunton, appeared on “Mornings On 1” Friday to discuss what this designation has done for the business.
