The role of women in the workplace takes center stage with a new exhibition at the New York Historical Society.

Women’s Work invites museum visitors to learn more about women’s labor history in the city and across the country.

Anna Danziger Halperin, Associate Director of the Center for Women’s History at the New York Historical Society, joined “News All Day” on Women Wednesday to talk more about the exhibition.

The exhibition explores what “women’s work” has meant over 300 years, including police work, sex work, sewing, housework, laundry, and more.

The exhibition starts this Friday and runs for a year. For more information, go to NYHistory.org.
