1. Trump draws large crowd at rally in the Bronx

A rally for former President Donald Trump drew a large crowd at Crotona Park in the Bronx Thursday night. NY1 reporters on scene said the turnout was in “in the thousands.”

Trump in 2020 won only 16% of the vote in the borough, which is considered a Democratic stronghold.

2. Mental health response teams miss goals

Millions of calls come through a 911 call center every year, and tens of thousands of them are for a mental health emergency.

3. Roosevelt Hotel migrant arrival center a new 'Ellis Island'

This week, approximately 250 migrants will reach their limits in a city shelter.

They can reapply for a chance to stay or move on, making way for migrants just arriving the New York. Among their first stops is the Roosevelt Hotel.
