The “City of Yes” housing plan is moving full steam ahead.

The City Council, by a vote of 31 to 20, approved the Adams administration’s rezoning reforms.

The proposal was modified by the City Council last month.

Also, the final $5 billion deal is estimated to create 80,000 new homes over the next 15 years and invest in public housing repairs, rental vouchers and infrastructure upgrades.

City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams and Dan Garodnick, who is both the director of the Department of City Planning and chair of the City Planning Commission, joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Thursday to discuss more.
