QUEENS, N.Y. - A man caught on video trying to run down protesters with his SUV in Queens this week and threatening them with a sharp weapon is now charged with attempted murder.
Video posted on Twitter shows the incident on Tuesday near Clintonville Street and the Cross Island Parkway in Whitestone.
It appears to show Frank Cavalluzzi getting out of his SUV carrying blades on his arm.
Cavalluzzi then gets back behind the wheel and drives toward the protesters on the sidewalk.
No one was hurt.
In addition attempted murder, Cavalluzzi is charged with attempted assault and menancing.
