With the many entertainment choices New York City has to offer, it can be difficult to make a choice. Look no further. "On Stage" host Frank DiLella has curated a list of “must-see” shows this week, directing you to the best of Broadway, Off-Broadway and beyond.

“Romeo and Juliet” / Circle in the Square

Sam Gold’s revival of “Romeo and Juliet” starring Kit Connor and Rachel Zegler as the star-crossed lovers will play its final performance at The Circle in the Square Theatre on February 16. Catch it before it closes up shop.

“Conversations with Mother” / Theater 555

On the Off-Broadway front, check out Matthew Lombardo’s semi-autobiographical comedy “Conversations with Mother,” starring Tony winner Matt Doyle and Caroline Aaron from “Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.” Matt and Caroline recently stopped by the “On Stage” studio to give me a preview.

"There’s a really special bond between a gay man and his mother. And I think that Matthew’s really capturing that," Doyle said.

"This is very personal to him, but it’s not his autobiography. So we’re free to roam within our own interpretations of these people. They land right inside your heart," Aaron  said.

“Conversations with Mother” is now in previews. Opening night is set for February 23. For tickets, go to conversationsplay.com

“Mystic Pizza” / Paper Mill Playhouse

And if you’re looking for a little day trip, head on over the river to the Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, New Jersey, to catch the 1988 rom-com turned musical “Mystic Pizza.” Set in Mystic, Connecticut, the show centers around three working-class waitresses who are navigating life and love. The musical features a pop-rock score of 80s and 90s hits like “Girls Just Want to Have Fun” and “Hold On.” “Mystic Pizza” is playing through the end of February.

Isaac Mizrahi / Café Carlyle

And finally on the cabaret front, don’t miss one of my favorite performers, Isaac Mizrahi, who is back at The Café Carlyle for a winter engagement with his new act titled "ISAAC MIZRAHI: I KNOW EVERYBODY." Expect a fabulous night of wit, wisdom, and song. For more information, go to helloisaac.com.
