There will be no 7 and N train service between Queens and Manhattan this weekend, the MTA says.

7 trains will not run between 74th St-Broadway and 34 St-Hudson Yards and N trains will not run between 39 Av-Dutch Kills and 57 St-7 Av starting at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 18, the agency said in a news release.

Full service will resume on Monday, Nov. 20 at 4 a.m. The MTA said the service changes will also take effect on several weekends early next year.

N trains will still run in two sections, between Coney Island-Stillwell Av and 57 St-7 Av and via the Q line to and from 96th Street. A shuttle train will also operate between Astoria-Ditmars Blvd and 39 Av-Dutch Kills.

The service suspension stems from ongoing work to improve the 7 line and a project aimed at making Queensboro Plaza more accessible, the release said.

The project includes the installation of new elevators, a new ramp on an enlarged mezzanine, modified pedestrian bridges and ADA upgrades to station stairs, according to the release.

For riders taking trips between Flushing, Mets-Willets Point, Woodside and Penn Station or Grand Central, the MTA says the LIRR will accommodate them at no additional cost.

Additional service is also being provided by the E and R lines. Those trains will be available at Jackson Heights-Roosevelt Av, Queens Plaza and R-only intermediate local stops. They will run every 8 minutes on each line during the day and in the evening.

Free shuttle buses will also run between 74 St-Broadway and Queens Plaza, Queens Plaza and Vernon Blvd-Jackson Av, and 39 Av-Dutch Kills and Queens Plaza.

The MTA will also offer free shuttle buses overnight between Times Sq-42 St and 34 St-Hudson Yards. 42 St shuttle trains will also run overnight.
