Albany Tulip Festival

The 77th edition of the Albany Tulip Festival, one of downtown’s signature attractions, is set for Saturday and Sunday in Washington Park.

Rooted in the city’s Dutch heritage, the Tulip Fest features two stages of live entertainment, arts and crafts vendors, a fine arts show, food, a kids' zone and more than 100,000 tulips in 130 different varieties.

2025 Historic Homes Tour

The Saratoga Springs Historic Homes Tour takes place from 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday in the city.

The Saratoga Springs Preservation Foundation and Honorary Chair Larissa Hawley host tours of private historic homes and buildings on North Broadway and neighboring streets in Saratoga Springs.

The private residences on this year’s tour include 688 N. Broadway, 795 N. Broadway, 199 Woodlawn Ave., 214 Woodlawn Ave., 139 State St., 10 Carriage House Lane, 75 Clinton St. and three condominiums at the former Public School No. 2, 77 Van Dam Street. The tour also will make a stop at 128-130 Clinton St., the foundation’s upcoming preservation project.

The Historic Homes Tour is the foundation’s largest annual fundraiser of the year. The foundation is hosting two educational programs Saturday at the Senator Edgar T. Brackett House at 605 N. Broadway.

Marlon Wayans

Actor, comedian, writer and film director Marlon Wayans hits the stage with standup comedy at 8 p.m. Saturday in the Paramount Hudson Valley Theater in Peekskill.

Fresh off his latest Amazon Prime Video special, Wayans brings his “Wild Child Tour” to the Hudson Valley.

Fans may recognize him from roles in "White Chicks," "Scary Movie" and "Requiem for a Dream," and TV shows "The Wayans Bros." and "Marlon."

Rip Van Winkle Wine, Brew and Beverage Festival

The 18th Rip Van Winkle Wine, Brew and Beverage Festival starts at 11:30 a.m. and goes until 5 p.m. Saturday at the Historic Catskill Point and Freightmasters Building in Catskill.

Come join us for an afternoon on the banks of the beautiful Hudson River. Enjoy unlimited tastings of wine, craft beer and beverages, as well as local food and craft vendors and live local music.

All proceeds benefit parks and recreation in Greene County. Organized by the Fortnightly Club of Catskill.

Albany Firebirds-Nashville Kats

The undefeated Albany Firebirds return to play at 7 p.m. Saturday in the MVP Arena in Albany.

The professional arena football team takes on the Nashville Kats.
