Albany Film Festival
The 5th Annual Albany Film Festival is happening from 10:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday at the state University at Albany. The event is open to the public.
Join us for a full-day celebration of film and storytelling featuring conversations with award-winning actors, filmmakers and writers, as well as screenings of feature-length and short films, and an awards ceremony.

The Lehman Trilogy
The Lehman Trilogy runs until April 6 with performances scheduled for this weekend at 7 p.m. Friday, 3 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday at theRep in Albany.
Written by Stefano Massini and directed by Maggie Mancinelli-Cahill, the show weaves together nearly two centuries of family history, humble beginnings, outrageous successes and the devastating failure of the Lehman financial institution.
Having celebrated highly lauded runs on Broadway and in London’s West End, and hailed by The New York Times as a genuinely epic production. The Lehman Trilogy is the tale of one family’s passionate pursuit of the American Dream and the piercing cost of greed, excess and unbridled power.

Girl Groups of the 60s
The Playhouse at Museum Village celebrates the opening of its 30th season with the fundraiser-concert “Fabulous Females - Girl Groups of the 60s.”
Performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday in the Playhouse at Museum Village in Monroe.

Winnie the Pooh: Kids!
The Debuts Theater Company presents three shows of “Winnie the Pooh: Kids!” at 7 p.m. Friday and 2 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at Via Port in Rotterdam.
In recognition of Disability Awareness Month, the theater company is putting on the production in which every lead is a student with an intellectual or developmental disability.
Welcome to the Hundred Acre Wood, where Winnie the Pooh is once again in search of honey. Along the way, he meets his pals, Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit and Owl, but soon discovers that Christopher Robin has been captured by the mysterious Backson!

50th Vietnam War Commemoration
The 50th Vietnam War Commemoration Ceremony, an event to recognize the service of Vietnam War era veterans, is being held at 5:30 p.m. Saturday at the New York State Military Museum in Saratoga Springs.
Conducted by the Friends of the New York State Military Museum and Capital District of New York Chapter of the Association of the United States Army, the event honors vets from all branches of service who served from Nov. 1, 1955, through May 15, 1975.
Doors open at 4:30 p.m.; check in ends at 5:20 pm.
Tom Green Comedy Tour
The unpredictable comedian presents stand-up comedy for four shows this weekend.
The man behind MTV's "The Tom Green Show" brings his “Home to the Country” tour to Poughkeepsie’s Laugh It Up Comedy Club at 7 and 9:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights.

Dustin Mele Memorial Concert
Enjoy an evening of live music featuring the music of Eric Clapton by local bands and top musicians at the 11th Annual Dustin Mele Memorial Concert from 6-9:30 p.m. Saturday in Browns Revolution Hall, Troy.
All proceeds benefit suicide prevention and mental health intervention programs and services.

Join Brooklyn Cider House head cidermaker Richard Yi for an introduction into the foundations of cider, an illumination of our own passion and vision for cider and a tasting of some exciting ciders.
