NEW YORK - A reminder that there are some changes if you're planning to use the transit system on this Labor Day.
Subways and buses are operating on a Sunday schedule.
That means some lines are not operating, and express service is suspended.
The MTA says the Staten Island Railway is also running on a Sunday schedule.
Meanwhile, Metro North is operating on a regular Monday schedule and the Long Island Rail Road is on a weekend schedule.

The MTA's letter to the DOT, dated March 30, included statistics on crime, de-escalation training for employees, fare evasion and efforts to fight it.
Expect to see slowdowns and service changes on some train lines as the city completes planned construction projects.
The city DOT says it will have the final design soon and implement it by summer after extensive public engagement.
Overall major crime in the subway system is down 21.7% versus last year, the MTA chief security officer said.
