NEW YORK - The Times Square Edition Hotel is closing just over a year after it opened.
The upscale high-rise with 452 rooms will shut down permanently by August 13.

The hotel at Seventh Avenue and 47th Street has been hit hard by coronavirus, with tourism practically coming to a complete stop.
The Times Square Edition is part of a mixed-use property once appraised at $2.4 billion.
