Mayor Eric Adams has unveiled a $43 million plan to address gender inequities across the city.

The initiative, “Women Forward NYC,” will include new programs aimed at greater access to health care, professional development and stable housing for women. It will also aim to reduce gender-based violence.

Deputy Mayor for Housing, Economic Development and Workforce Maria Torres-Springer joined “News All Day” on Friday to discuss the new program.
