You may know him from the movie “Cool Runnings” or the TV show “New York Undercover.” But what you may not know is Bronx-born actor Malik Yoba is also a community leader focusing on real estate development and helping people build generational wealth. He joined “News All Day” on Tuesday with more on his exciting careers.

Yoba got into acting by performing in plays at home and at school. He then joined the Metropolitan Opera Children’s Theatre Guild at age 13.

While he’s still acting, he’s also spent his career community building. In fact, he was playing a real estate developer in the show “God Friended Me” and that inspired him to bring his passions together.

His company, Yoba Development, focuses on real estate, education, and media. They recently had an activation called “From the Ground Up: Flipping the Hood.” It is one of many projects designed to help young people better understand real estate and development, creating wealth for themselves and their families.
