The City University of New York is stepping up its efforts to get more students enrolled in college.
Earlier this week, CUNY Chancellor Félix Matos Rodríguez and the Schools Chancellor David Banks hand-delivered welcome letters to high school seniors encouraging them to apply.
On Tuesday, Rodríguez delivered his annual State of the University speech.
He said that there’s good news: CUNY schools experienced an upswing in news student enrollment for the first time since the pandemic.
Rodríguez joined NY1 political anchor Errol Louis on “Inside City Hall” Thursday to discuss more.
