DOC Commissioner Lynelle Maginley-Liddie shared how the department is helping take care of detainees with mental illnesses.

Maginley-Liddie also talked about the recent graduation ceremony she presided over, her first ceremony since becoming commissioner.

She also explained why solitary confinement is necessary, and how putting a ban on it could put both the staff and the detainees in harm’s way.
