WCJA executive director Rev. Dr. Sharon White-Harrigan discusses her 11 years being incarcerated, saying she’s met many women who experience different levels of trauma.

She talked about the Hand in Hand Healing mentoring project, as well as the HERSTORIES Project and what it does for women on healing journeys learning to tell their own truths.

White-Harrigan says there wasn’t someone there to help women when she entered the system, so she wanted to create a space to do that for others.

She shared the successful model she uses that helps heal women from all walks of life from within.
