New York City is a multicultural hub with dozens of museums, hundreds of parks and millions of people. The number of potential things to see and do can feel overwhelming, but NY1 has you covered with some of the highlights taking place this weekend across the five boroughs.

This new exhibition is dedicated to the legacy of Flaco, the Eurasian eagle-owl who escaped the Central Park Zoo in February 2023 and lived the next year as a free bird in the city.
The exhibition will feature photographs and videos that document Flaco’s life. It will also illuminate the dangers birds face in urban environments. Flaco died in February 2024 after colliding with a building on the Upper West Side.
Mark your calendars! 🦉 Local legend Flaco the owl gets his own exhibit at The New York Historical. "The Year of Flaco" opens on Feb. 7. 2025. https://t.co/UTeFrHxxYT
