The field of candidates running for mayor continues to grow.

City Council Speaker Adrienne Adams has officially decided to enter the race.

The calls for Speaker Adams to run for mayor picked up speed in recent weeks following the high-profile resignations of several deputy mayors at City Hall.

It also comes as a recent Quinnipiac poll shows an all-time low approval rating of Mayor Eric Adams.

Political Consultant Hank Sheinkopf, who also advisers Teamsters Local 237, which recently endorsed former Gov. Andrew Cuomo, joined “The Rush Hour” on Thursday to discuss the latest in the mayoral race.
