A 13-year-old boy was shot in the head Friday afternoon on Staten Island, police said.

According to the NYPD, the incident occurred just before 4 p.m. at Gordon Street and Fulton Street in Stapleton.

The boy was taken to Richmond University Medical Center in critical condition, according to police.

The NYPD said they are looking for two males in connection with the incident, but did not provide any additional details.
