Many New Yorkers are worried about cost increases resulting from President Donald Trump’s reciprocal tariffs.

Trump’s 10% tariff on all countries will take effect just after midnight Friday. Higher tariffs will kick in on April 9 for countries with which the U.S. has the largest trade deficits.

Kathryn Wylde, the president and CEO of the nonprofit organization Partnership for New York City, whose members include some of the city’s top business leaders, joined NY1’s Bobby Cuza on “Inside City Hall” Friday to talk about the impact Trump’s tariffs could have on the city’s economy.
