Texas will enjoy a quiet — and very pleasant — week in the days ahead. A strong high pressure dome is building over the central U.S., bringing sunny skies and a warming trend.
Tuesday afternoon highs will reach the middle 70s in North Texas. Central and South Texas will enjoy 80s and a few low 90s.
The high pressure pattern is also very dry. Humidity will be slow to return but should do so by Thursday with increasing late night and early morning clouds.
Sunny skies will otherwise prevail across the Lone Star State this week, with highs climbing into the 80s and 90s statewide by the weekend.
No rain is expected.
