QUEENS, N.Y. - Police in Queens say they have made a big bust in a long-term drug and gun investigation, including a father and his son.
Officials say they arrested 13 members of the Hollis, Queens-based Henderson New York Gang.
The group named after Henderson Avenue is also known as HNY.
During the investigation, the Queens district attorney's office and NYPD say they seized more than a kilo of cocaine and 10 illegal guns.
Several defendants also face attempted murder charges, allegedly for an unsuccessful hit of a rival member.
"HNY profited from drug dealing and in turn used the profits to obtain firearms and commit acts of violence in Queens county. These arrests are part of a continued effort to keep not only the Hollis community, but the entire community of Queens safe and to drive the criminal element from the county," said Acting Queens DA John Ryan.
Investigators say they have charged two others involved in the gang but are still searching for their whereabouts.
