QUEENS, N.Y. - An elderly woman is dead after a house fire Wednesday night in Queens.

Flames broke out just before 11:30 p.m. inside 166-11 91st Avenue in Jamaica.

84-year-old Ruth Andrade was found unresponsive on the first floor.

She was pronounced dead at the hospital.

An 85-year-old man was also rescued, and is being treated for his injuries.

The cause remains under investigation.
