It's a slow ride for people traveling on the Northway Friday: A truck is stuck under a bridge, causing major delays.

The state Department of Transportation is warning drivers to be aware of closures and delays on the Northway and on Route 146 in Clifton Park.

The DOT says a truck hit the Northway overpass while traveling east on Route 146 and became stuck. You can see from the DOT camera that the truck appears to have been carrying construction equipment.

Engineers are inspecting the bridge to check for any damage.

Drivers heading south on the Northway starting at exit 11, as well as drivers heading east on Route 146, should plan for delays. The DOT says there will be rolling slowdowns and temporary closures while crews inspect the bridge.
