NEW YORK - Plans are in the works to renovate Highbridge Park in Manhattan.

The plans call for $5 million worth of improvements to the part of the park at the intersection of Dyckman Street, Fort George Hill Place and Nagle Avenue.

The Parks Department wants neighbors to help with the new design.

The department will hold a virtual meeting next week where residents can offer up their ideas.

They expect construction to begin in 2023.
