Three people under the age of 18 are dead after a head-on collision last night in Brooklyn.
It happened just after 8:30 near Aviation Road and Flatbush Avenue, near an entrance to Floyd Bennett Field.
Sources believe the accident was the result of drag racing, which is said to take place often in that parking lot.
Two boys -- an 11-year-old and a 16-year-old -- as well as an 18-year-old woman were pronounced dead at local hospitals.
Four other teens were injured in the crash, including a 17-year-old at Kings County Hospital, who is fighting for his life.
The relationship between the victims is not yet known.
The investigation is ongoing.
