BROOKLYN, N.Y. - An all-girls Catholic high school in Brooklyn is closing for good after being in operation for nearly six decades.
Bishop Kearney High School in Bensonhurst will shut its doors on August 31.
The school cites declining enrollment, changing demographics and increasing costs for its decision.
Bishop Kearney first opened in 1961.
The administration says it is working with families to move students to other schools.
