BRONX, N.Y. - One person was seriously injured and five others hurt in a high-rise fire in the Bronx early Tuesday morning.
The FDNY says the fire broke out around 4:30 a.m. inside the 24th floor compactor room of the Tracey Towers, one of two 41-story buildings located at 20 West Mosholu Parkway in Kingsbridge Heights.
Firefighters got the flames under control within an hour.
Investigators are now trying to figure out what started the fire.
