BRONX, N.Y. - City firefighters are investigating what caused a massive a three-alarm fire in the Bronx this morning.

Fire officials say the flames broke out around 5:30 a.m. inside a home at 1076 Boston Road in Morrisania.

The fire then spread to the home next door.

 

The FDNY says 15 people in total were able to evacuate safely on their own.
 
One firefighter suffered minor injuries.
