BRONX, N.Y. - Charges are pending against a 13-year-old girl who allegedly stabbed a classmate at her Bronx school.

It happened Wednesday inside the cafeteria at Hostos-Lincoln Academy of Science located at 600 St. Ann's Avenue in Woodstock.

The victim was taken to the hospital with injuries to his shoulder.

No weapon was recovered at the scene.

The Education Department says it's adding extra security measures to the school.
