Following a New York Times exposé about former Mayor Ed Koch’s homosexuality, gay rights advocate Allen Roskoff joined Errol to explain why he’s leading a campaign to get Koch’s name off the 59th Street Bridge in Manhattan. Roskoff also opens up about his painful experience as a gay man in the New York of the 1970s and shares some of his most memorable stories from his decades in activism. Weighing in on Mayor Eric Adams, he says members of the LGBTQ community are disappointed in some of his decisions so far and will continue to “keep a close eye” on his administration.
