The Yankees are scheduled to play Game 2 of the American League Division Series against the Cleveland Guardians at Yankee Stadium on Thursday night.

But while it’s been a clear and dry forecast for New York City over the last few days, the weather conditions don’t look so promising for Thursday’s game.

A strong cold front is expected to move across the region that will bring heavier and steadier rain that evening. Gusty winds and possible thunderstorms will also accompany the cold front.

Although there could be a few brief breaks, it appears that Thursday evening will be a wet and nasty one.

The Yankees won Game 1 Tuesday night with a 4-1 score at Yankee Stadium.

The Bronx team is leading the series over the Cleveland Guardians one game to zero.
