ENJOY THE WEEKEND!
Dry conditions are expected for both Saturday and Sunday. Saturday will be the better day with lots of sunshine and highs reaching the mid and upper 70s. Sunday will feature a lot more clouds especially for the afternoon. Temperatures will also be slightly below average in the upper 60s. Overall, a nice weekend to get outside & get some fresh air but remember to do so responsibly.
UNSETTLED WEEK
Wet weather returns for Monday and Tuesday. Unfortunately, clouds and showers look to linger throughout the entire week as a storm system stalls over the area. In addition to lots of clouds and shower chances, temperatures will also take a hit. The average high temperature for this time of year is 71 degrees. Most highs during the week will be in the mid and upper 60s.
TROPICAL TROUBLE: We’re watching an area off the SE US coast that could develop into our first named storm of the year. Hurricane season begins June 1st but it seems as though Arthur is poised to make an appearance a bit early. It wouldn’t be the first time and actually for the last 6 years, we’ve had a named storm form prior to hurricane season starting. Good news, we do not anticipate any impacts from Arthur.
