New digital signs are going up at Grand Central Terminal.
The MTA says it is part of Metro-North's "Way Ahead Initiative," which is designed to enhance safety, service, infrastructure and communications.
They say the new signs are brighter, easier to read and more reliable, and make more accurate predictions of train arrival times.
The project also includes deployment of a new public address system.
The MTA anticipates all the big board installations will be completed in early June.
