A cultural cornerstone in Upper Manhattan is celebrating a new life to reflect on its organization’s growth and commitment to its community.
The People’s Theatre Project has a new name: “The People’s Theatre.”
The group, now in its 16th season, is also preparing to enter a new space in Inwood next year.
Mino Lora, co-founder and executive artistic director of The People’s Theatre, and actor Shadi Ghaheri joined “The Rush Hour” on Friday to discuss the new name, and their upcoming show “Domino Effect”, which opens on April 4.
