President Donald Trump has been back in the oval office for less than a week and his administration confirms its mass deportation campaign for undocumented migrants is underway.

Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials claim to have made more than 500 arrests in Sanctuary cities since Monday.

The White House shared these images of migrants on Friday, which showed them handcuffed, and boarding a military aircraft.

A Department of Homeland Security official says these first flights departed Texas last night to bring around 80 Guatemalans back to their home country.

It comes after four aircraft were sent to San Diego and El Paso for deportation flights earlier this week.

Elora Mukherjee, director of Columbia Law School’s Immigrants Rights Clinic, joined “The Rush Hour” on Friday to talk about these deportations, and what it means for migrants in the city.
