Mayor Eric Adams’ budget cuts have ended the city’s 30-year community composting as the city expands its curbside composting program.

Members of the City Council and environmental activists are calling on Adams to reverse these cuts.

City Council Chair of the Sanitation and Solid Waste Management Committee Shaun Abreu joined “The Rush Hour” to discuss the calls for funding restoration.
