In recent years, NYU Langone Health has made such dramatic leaps that it now consistently ranks among the country’s top medical centers.

Dr. Robert Grossman, CEO of NYU Langone Health and dean of the NYU Grossman School of Medicine, is credited with overseeing and executing this bold restructuring.

Grossman joined “The Rush Hour” on Tuesday to discuss the transformation, the moment he decided to make the medical school tuition free, and how he oversaw the merger in 2016 that created NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn. Since then, the mortality rate is down 33%.
