The New York Mets continued to add to their massive offseason haul Thursday.

The team brought back longtime center fielder Brandon Nimmo on an eight-year contract worth $162 million, per multiple published reports. They also signed former New York Yankee David Robertson, a right-hand relief pitcher, according to multiple reports.

Nimmo, who will be 30 in March, was drafted by the Mets in the first round in 2011 out of Cheyenne, Wyoming and made his major league debut in 2016. He maintained a .274 batting average with 16 home runs in 2022, leading the league with seven triples as he manned center at Citi Field.

"Glad to be back! Let's go!" Nimmo tweeted Thursday night.

The 37-year-old Robertson has been pitching in the majors since 2008, debuting with the Yankees. He played in the Bronx until 2015, and has since pitched for the Chicago White Sox, the Chicago Cubs, the Philadelphia Phillies and the Tampa Bay Rays, as well as another stint with the Yankees from 2017 to 2018.

He's maintained a 2.89 ERA over the course of his career with 157 saves. Last season, splitting time with the Cubs and the Phillies, he appeared in 58 games, recorded 20 saves, and struck out 81 batters.

The Mets reportedly penned Robertson to a one-year, $10 million deal.

Nimmo and Robertson join closer Edwin Diaz and veteran starter Justin Verlander as major signings recorded by the Mets this offseason. Diaz is set to earn $102 million over five years and Verlander landed a two-year deal worth $86 million, with an option for a third season.
