Gov. Kathy Hochul and her husband raked in nearly $2 million last year, according to copies of the couple’s joint tax returns released Friday.

The governor’s husband, William Hochul, made $1,467,116 in 2023 working at his former job at Delaware North, the hospitality company that provides food services at the Buffalo Bills’ Highmark Stadium. He also drew over $80,579 in deferred payments from the company, as well as over $45,000 in pension funds thanks to his former role as a federal prosecutor in the Western District of New York.

William Hochul now works at the white shoe law firm Davis Polk.

The couple also received $43,292 in dividends and $18,756 in interest. They also donated $84,780 to charities.

The Hochuls paid a combined $733,162 in state and federal taxes.
