The final day of early voting in the state's presidential primary ended Saturday with about 56,000 votes in New York City, officials said.

President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump have already secured enough delegates to win their parties' nominations ahead of the state’s primary Tuesday.

The New York City Board of Elections said 55,879 across the five boroughs went to the polls to cast an early ballot.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the BOE broke down final number of turnouts each day by borough.

Manhattan had the highest turnout of all the boroughs, with Brooklyn and Queens not far behind.

A total of 100,756 registered party voters in the state partook over the eight days of early voting, according to Spectrum News 1.
