At its final public meeting on Monday, lawmakers on the House Jan. 6 panel referred former President Donald Trump to the Justice Department on four criminal charges: conspiracy to defraud the United States, obstruction of an official proceeding of Congress, conspiracy to make a false statement and insurrection.
