The House Select Committee investigating the Jan. 6 riot at the U.S. Capitol held its seventh public hearing on Tuesday, an inquiry focused on the role of far-right extremist groups in the deadly insurrection and whether they coordinated with former President Donald Trump's White House ahead of the violence.
