Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul will assume the office of governor in the wake of the attorney general's report that concluded Gov. Andrew Cuomo harassed multiple women.
In a speech Wednesday, Hochul assured New Yorkers that she is fully prepared to take over the reins from Gov. Andrew Cuomo in less than two weeks. Hochul said she has already spoken with top state lawmakers and labor and business leaders and will continue to communicate with them during the transition.
