In just two months, NY1 will be kicking off the 2021 debate season with the first mayoral showdown. 

The city's Campaign Finance Board released the debate schedule Thursday, and the first Democratic primary mayoral debate will be on Thursday, May 13. NY1 will be co-hosting the event with WNYC and Gothamist, the online news organization The City, Citizens Union, John Jay College, and the voting rights organization Social Work Votes.

NY1 will also bring you a debate with the Republican candidates for mayor on Wednesday, May 26, as well as the first debate in the Democratic primary for city comptroller on Thursday, June 10.
