A picnic and a meet-and-greet are on the schedule for Mayor Bill de Blasio Sunday, Day 2 of his weekend trip to New Hampshire.
The mayor marched in a local parade and met with Democratic leaders Saturday.
De Blasio has yet to register in a New Hampshire presidential poll, where former Vice President Joe Biden and Sen. Bernie Sanders are the early frontrunners.
Despite lacking the poll numbers and donors to participate in the third round of Democratic debates, the mayor is staying positive in the Granite State.
"This is a joy. People are so welcoming and they're having such a great time. They're proud of their town. This is the kind of thing that makes you very proud to be in America," the mayor said.
So far, nine candidates have qualified for September's debates.
