Each week, NY1 takes a look at what's happening in the theater world on its weekly show "On Stage." Here's host Frank DiLella with a preview of this week's episode.

This weekend on "On Stage":

  • Host Frank DiLella will sit down with Tony winner Ben Platt and powerhouse actress Micaela Diamond to talk about their return to Broadway in the critically acclaimed revival of “Parade” directed by Michael Arden.
  • Here’s another moment from Frank DiLella’s chat with Platt where he talks about connecting to his Judaism roots with playing the real life Leo Frank.
  • Leo Frank was a Jewish superintendent of a pencil factory in Georgia who was wrongfully accused of committing a crime back in 1913.
  • Plus, funny lady Judy Gold will stop by the studio to chat her new one woman show “Yes, I Can Say That!”
