CLEVELAND — While the Cleveland area is preparing for the Columbus Crew v. Inter Miami CF on Saturday, officials have released traffic plans for the city. 

The match is set for 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 19 at Huntington Bank Field. 

Large crowds are expected for the event, which will lead to exit ramp closures and parking restrictions. Officials highly encourage fans to use public transit.

There are parking restrictions for several areas along main roadways, including:

  • Lakeside Avenue – From East 9th Street to West 9th Street
  • St. Clair Avenue – From East 9th Street to West 9th Street
  • West 9th Street – From Front Avenue to West Superior Avenue
  • East 9th Street – From Carnegie Avenue to Lakeside Avenue
  • West 3rd Street – From Lakeside Avenue to St. Clair Avenue
  • Additional streets surrounding the football stadium
  • Erieside Avenue and Alfred Lerner Way

The restrictions go into effect at 10 a.m., and drivers are encouraged to check for signage outlining restrictions.

Exit ramps along Route 2 will also close at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 19.

The closures include:

  • West 3rd Street Westbound Off-Ramp
  • West 3rd Street Northbound/Southbound Lanes
    • North of Lakeside Avenue will be closed, but access to The Pit lot and Cuyahoga County lot will be maintained
  • East 9th Westbound
    • North of Lakeside Avenue will be closed, but access to the Willard Garage and Jones Day Garage will be maintained
  • East 9th Eastbound

Drivers will be able to park at parking garages, including:

  • Municipal Lot – Open at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday with a rate is $40 per space
  • Willard Garage – Open at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday with a rate is $40
