AUSTIN, Texas — The stage is set for South by Southwest to take over downtown Austin, and now, we have the full music lineup for the festival.
Just a day before the festival officially kicked off, SXSW on Thursday released the full list of artists set to perform during the SXSW Music Festival.
“As the final days leading into SXSW approach, this last announcement includes all the incredible performers set to arrive in Austin soon," said James Minor, VP of the SXSW Music Festival. “We know many will be traveling from afar to showcase their talents to excited audiences, and we couldn’t be more appreciative of all the dedication it has taken to get to this point.”
The music portion of SXSW’s programming starts on March 10 and goes through March 15. An opening party presented by Tencent Music Entertainment is scheduled for March 11 at The Mohawk. The party’s lineup includes Meg Remy’s U.S. Girls, Immersion and a “beat-spitting battle royale” with The Beatbox Collective against Soup.
Back in January, the artists performing at Coca Cola’s Sips & Sounds festival were announced, which included Halsey, Khalid and Benson Boone. Sips & Sounds is a two-day festival hosted during the first weekend of SXSW. Tickets for Sips & Sounds were sold separately from the SXSW badges.
Benson Boone will also perform at Rolling Stone’s Future of Music showcase alongside Megan Moroney, Rema and more. This concert series is taking place from March 11 through March 14 and is available to all SXSW badge holders as well as people without badges on a first-come, first-serve basis.
