New Yorkers who got an error message when they tried to score free tickets for front-row views of the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks show will have a second chance to get them Thursday.

More than 1 million people attempted to secure tickets when the city began offering them online Wednesday morning, but only 2,000 managed to due to a website crash, a City Hall spokesperson said.

The city said 10,000 free tickets would be available via nycjuly4.com on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 10 a.m., but the site only loaded for a fraction of people.

The remaining tickets will be offered through the same website at 10 a.m. on Thursday, June 27, also on a first-come, first-served basis, the spokesperson said.

The spokesperson said the city is working with a third-party vendor to create a waiting room that will control the number of visitors to the site and prevent another crash.

Tickets, which will be limited to two per person, will allow access to viewing spots at either Pier 45 or Pier 84 in Hudson River Park.

“Anyone who does not get a ticket can still view the fireworks display along miles of space along the Hudson that will be open to the general public,” the City Hall spokesperson said in a statement.

General public entry points for viewing are located at Christopher Street and Washington Street, West 11th Street and Washington Street, West 12th Street and Washington Street, West 29th Street and 11th Avenue and West 40th Street and 11th Avenue, the city said in a news release Tuesday.

ADA-accessible viewing locations will be located at Christopher Street and Washington Street and at West 41st Street and 11th Avenue, according to the release.
