The city will offer 10,000 free tickets to the public for prime views of the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks show in Manhattan, Mayor Eric Adams said Tuesday.

The tickets will allow their holders to view the fireworks from either Hudson River Park’s Pier 45 or Pier 84, Adams said in a news release.

Tickets will be available through nycjuly4.com on a first-come, first-served basis starting Wednesday, June 26 at 10 a.m. Individuals will be limited to two tickets.

"While all New Yorkers will be able to take part in the illumination of our sky at the Macy’s 4th of July Fireworks, our administration is making sure that 10,000 lucky New Yorkers have an opportunity to enjoy the show with a front-row seat," Adams said in a statement.

"We’re making sure everyone has a fair shot at attending one of the city’s most exciting and iconic events. I look forward to joining the thousands of viewers celebrating America’s birthday right here in the Big Apple,” he added.

This year marks a notable change, as it will be the first time in over a decade that the Macy's fireworks will illuminate the Hudson River rather than the East River.

For those unable to secure tickets, the fireworks will be visible over the Hudson River from various points along the West Side Highway.

General public entry points for viewing are located at Christopher Street and Washington Street, West 11th Street and Washington Street, West 12th Street and Washington Street, West 29th Street and 11th Avenue and West 40th Street and 11th Avenue.

ADA-accessible viewing locations will be set up at Christopher Street and Washington Street, as well as West 41st Street and 11th Avenue.

The Macy's 4th of July Fireworks show dates back to 1976. This year’s display will feature “thousands of shells, with an array of effects and vibrant colors, shapes, light and sounds,” according to the mayor’s office.
